I have been hitting a lot of concerts lately and have not had much time to post anything on here. Last week on Friday, I went to Kansas City to see Stryper play at an outdoor venue downtown. It was pretty stinking cold. They only scheduled it around a month in advance. There was not a lot of people there. I was disappointed and excited at the same time. It was good, because I was able to get right up next to the stage, which is the closest I ever have gotten! Plus the merchandise table was not crowded. I loaded up on stuff. Highlight of this night: I got a lot of Stryper merchandise. I got up really close to the front, and my buddy caught a Stryper Bible that he gave to me.
Next I went to see Stryper on Monday in St. Louis. It was pretty cool. I got to check out the arch and than showed up for a meet n greet. I got to go early to a soundcheck (which seems to be the thing bands do nowdays) and than meet them and get some merchandise signed. It was a great show at a venue called Pop's! I really like seeing shows here, because they ususally have a good turn out. Enclosed are some pictures:

Next on Thursday night I caught Skillet in Tulsa. I showed up right before they started. They really seem to be the big thing right now in Christian music. Pretty cool, have a good sound, and the singer grew up on 80's hair band. They had lots of smoke, fire, explosions, and everything else that makes a rock show cool.
And then yesterday, I went to see U2 at the stadium in Norman. I stood in line for like 6 hours. And than we got in the stadium and stood all night. I did not get to truly sit down until midnight in the car! Man it was a great show, a crowd roughly of 50,000. a U2 experience is undescribable. My only complaint is that everything that a person has to go through to see U2, by the time you actually get to see them you are wore out. Oh well once every 5 years is worth it right? Don't have any pics yet? I am sure I will find some.
I got home at 3 A.M. and than wole up at 6 to drive an hour and a half to go to my preaching class, which I had to deliver a sermon today. I think I am done with the concert tour, until November.
